We’re excited to share a small but meaningful update at our HTNS building at 240 Portland Street in Dartmouth.
With summer right around the corner, our front courtyard is being transformed with a new garden space designed to bring more life and colour to the building. What was once a simple pass-through is becoming a welcoming place for residents, visitors, and staff to enjoy.
The addition of greenery not only enhances the look and feel of the space, but also supports well-being, encourages connection, and creates a more inviting entrance experience, just in time for the warmer months.
This project reflects our ongoing commitment to creating environments that are thoughtful, functional, and community-focused.
A big thank you to everyone involved in planning and bringing this courtyard area, and the building retrofit and renovations to life. This work is made possible through support from our partners: CMHC, Efficiency One, the Province of Nova Scotia, and HRM. Together, we’re creating sustainable homes that improve daily life and protect the environment.
